Highly collectible earthenware by Nils Kähler for Herman A. Kähler Keramik, Denmark circa 1932

Nils Kähler (1906–1979) was a master craftsman and designer at the renowned Danish workshop Herman A. Kähler Keramik (HAK). Pieces from the early 1930s reflect the workshop's transition toward Scandinavian Modernism, characterized by earthy chamotte clay, incised sgraffito details, and striking monochromatic or rich salt glazes.

This piece is executed in black, grey & cream semi gloss glaze
