John Home designed the Ambassador range for HK Furniture Ltd (often referred to as Howard Keith or HK Designs), a British manufacturer known for high-quality, often bespoke, furniture (not to be confused with Ambassador Oak dining sets by other manufacturers such as Harpers Furniture or its Dutch name sake).
Best known for their Diplomat & Barbican sofas (the latter was commissioned for Elton Johns private jet in the 1970’s) the Ambassador range was awarded Guild Mark 86 by the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers, highlighting its high standards of excellence in design. HK also created bespoke furniture for the Queen’s Royal Train, Parliament & the QE2.
